What is Storagedrop?
Storagedrop is an online storage service that  provides storage space for your personal and private files. You can sign up for free and keep a secure record of your thoughts and files.


Why is it so great?

Most Storage services focus on providing less web space and more prices. Storagedrop is all about free web space, privacy and sharing your files with your friends only if you want to. It is extremely intuitive and easy to use, not requiring you to have a separate environment to view / store your files.

How much storage space do I get when I signup?

Standard (Free) users get 6GB of storage space and Enterprise (Paid) users get 10GB of space.

Can my files be read / viewed by anyone else?
No! Unless you specifically share your files inside Storagedrop domain with your friends, it is completely private and accessible only by you. So long as you keep your password safe, your files will never be read by anyone else.

Are my files secure?
Your files are secured through premium security practices. Each file is kept safe in our database and not read by anyone but you.

Browser Support
We currently support Firefox & Internet Explorer, Iphone compatibility being developed.

Delete an file?
To delete an file, you must select it in the user page and then click the delete icon button.

Rename an file?
Renaming an file must be done from the user page and then click on the rename icon

Search through files?
We are currently working on search feature and will be updated shortly.

Why can’t I edit a file?
You can always edit a text readable file (txt, doc, xls), but you cannot edit a file which is not a text readable file (pdf, mp3, jpg etc...)

I have forgotten my main account password.
If you have forgotten your password and are unable to login to your account, simply send us an email to password@storagedrop.com and mention your username + a name of a file you stored recently to confirm you are the true owner of the account.

Why can’t I share?
You must approve / request a friend under Friends Management page in order to share an file. If you still can’t share an file, make sure your browser is supported.
